jsFiddle – a great dev tool

4 July 2011

Browsing around I found a great tool for web developers – jsFiddle. The more I play with it, the more I like it.

It could be used for making HTML or CSS snippets. Could be used for locating Javascript bugs, share scripts or building code snippets. Code might be saved for future usage or for share with others.

jsFiddle allows embedding on any page. Embedding is made as easy as few lines of code:

<iframe
  style="width: 100%; height: 300px"
  src="http://jsfiddle.net/zalun/NmudS/embedded/">
</iframe>

There are 4 tabs used in the fiddle and their order might be changed in the URL, i.e.

src="http://jsfiddle.net/zalun/NmudS/embedded/result,js,html,css/"

will show result,js,html,css tabs from left to right in this order.

For those interested in diving into jsFiddle there is an API
